Thyroid in Balance
Thyroid Health
Natural therapies to assist you in finding balance.
- Drink, bathe, and cook with filtered water.
- Coconut oil (1-3 tablespoons per day of pure virgin coconut oil).
- Avoid fluoride (tap-water, and fluoridated toothpaste) and chlorine. Chlorine, fluorine, and iodine are chemically related. Chlorine and fluorine block iodine receptors in the thyroid gland, resulting in reduced iodine-containing hormone production and (potentially) in hypo-thyroidism. In some studies, dis-ease of the thyroid has been linked to fluoridate water.
- Daily exercise (aerobic). Movement helps the thyroid to balance.
- Yoga, stretching, and deep breathing.
- Chanting and singing. (Language as light)
- Laughter
- Learning to ’speak your truth’
- Meditation

- Fresh vegetable juices (add in some radishes for increased healing)
- Various green superfoods-chlorella, blue-green algaes, kelp, sea vegetables, wheatgrass
